If you have ever been to an elementary school science fair, you’ve likely seen the impressive creativity and resourcefulness of young students, often with the help of their parents. From models of the solar system to windmills made of popsicle sticks, the projects can be quite captivating.

But one 10-year-old aspiring quarterback from Millcreek Elementary in Kentucky, named Ace Davis, had a different idea. He decided to integrate his love for football and dislike for Tom Brady into his science project, aiming to prove that the New England Patriots quarterback is a cheater, specifically focusing on the Deflategate controversy from 2015.

To steer clear of bias, Davis openly declared his hatred for Tom Brady and expressed his desire for him to be caught cheating. Despite potential bias, his project garnered attention and even led to a conclusion that “under-inflated footballs provide a competitive advantage.”

Supported by experiments conducted with his family, including throwing footballs inflated to different weights and measuring the distance of each toss, Davis presented graphs and charts to back his hypothesis. He also emphasized the Patriots’ penalty for the alleged doctoring of footballs as evidence of Brady’s cheating.

Additionally, Davis included photos of a crying Brady and one of him making a foolish face, as well as one of himself in a football uniform with a green checkmark over his own picture and a red X over Brady’s picture.

When asked about his motivation for the project, Davis revealed his support for Jameis Winston and his belief in Joe Montana as the greatest NFL quarterback. He also suggested that his project garnered national attention due to its humor and public fatigue with watching Brady in the Super Bowl.
