Senior officials from the Biden Administration have reported that about 95% of the entire United States federal workforce has complied with President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate. Specifically, around 90% of the workforce have received at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine (and this has been verified), while 5% have submitted exemption applications from the mandate which are either pending or approved.
According to an official, “The Biden administration will achieve 95% compliance across the Federal government by the vaccination requirement deadline, with employees having received their first dose or having pending or approved exceptions or extension requests. Over 90% of these employees will have had at least one shot, with most of them being fully vaccinated.”

Reports from internal sources speaking to CNN indicate that these numbers have surpassed the administration’s initial expectations. The majority of the 90% who have been vaccinated are fully vaccinated with two doses, and those seeking exemptions are expected to submit more applications before the end of the day.
The vaccine mandate is scheduled to come into effect at the end of the day. For those who have not been vaccinated and have not filed a proper exemption, federal departments will conduct an “education and counseling process” to emphasize the importance of vaccination, with further actions to be taken as needed.
