Are Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland more than just friends? The new trailer for Season 3 of The OC suggests their friendship may be on the rocks, but recent revelations tell a different story.
After their intimate hot tub moment at the end of The OC Season 2, fans wondered about the relationship between Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland. However, it turns out they are not together and have actually stopped talking to each other.
At the Selling Sunset Season 7 reunion, host Tan France pressed Alex Hall about her relationship with Tyler, revealing that things were not going well between them.
Despite their emotional connection and kiss on The OC Season 2, Alex and Tyler chose to keep the status of their relationship private and avoided addressing any romantic rumors.
The trailer for The OC Season 3 shown during the reunion hinted at a bumpy road ahead for Alex and Tyler.
In a tense moment, Alex confronts Tyler about his behavior after their kiss. Accusing him of charming her only to disappear, she questions the state of their relationship. Tyler, in response, admits that they are not on the same page.
When asked by Tan about Tyler leaving the brokerage, Alex revealed, “I learned about his departure after he was already gone.” She also mentioned that Tyler had blocked her and cut off all communication.
Expressing her desire for answers, Alex expressed doubts about the reasons behind Tyler’s block.
In October 2023, Tyler said goodbye to the Oppenheim Group to join his father, John Stanaland, at Douglas Elliman, a real estate firm. Jason Oppenheim confirmed Tyler’s departure, and his profile was removed from the website.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Tyler explained, “Leaving the Oppenheim Group was a tough decision, but the right one for me and my clients. I’m excited to partner with Douglas Elliman and its strong network of agents and industry influencers.”
Tyler will appear in Season 3 of The OC, but his involvement in future seasons is uncertain: “The OC focuses on Oppenheim Group agents. Considering my current situation, I will be at Douglas Elliman.”
