The rules for the upcoming ports have become less strict compared to previous releases.
Atlus, a well-known video game developer and publisher, has been known for imposing stringent streaming guidelines on their games. In the recent re-releases of Persona 5 Royal, strict rules were in place, restricting streamers from showcasing certain parts of the game to prevent spoilers, despite the game being several years old.
Next week, Atlus is launching new ports of two other popular Persona games, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, on platforms like the Xbox Series X and PC. Before the release, Atlus has unveiled the streaming guidelines for these games, which are comparatively more lenient. Streamers are now allowed to share any part of the games publicly, with the only request being to give a spoiler warning for significant story moments.

Additionally, Atlus’ streaming rules include avoiding defamatory or illegal content during gameplay, displaying Atlus and Sega trademarks continuously on the screen, and refraining from streaming before the official release date. Atlus reserves the right to issue warnings to stream or video owners violating these guidelines and may request video removal without prior notice.
