During a recent concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as part of her “Happier Than Ever” world tour, singer and songwriter Billie Eilish paused the show to assist a fan who was suffering from an asthma attack. Everything was unfolding as usual until Eilish spotted a distressed individual in the audience.
“Do you need an inhaler?” she inquired to a young lady who appeared to be struggling with breathing. Turning to the stage crew, she asked, “Do we have an inhaler? Can we just grab one?”
The stage crew promptly provided an inhaler, which was handed to the fan, as Eilish reassured the crowd to remain calm. “It’s OK, you got one. Guys, give it some time. Don’t crowd,” she advised, ensuring the rest of the audience that everything was under control.
“We’re taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she emphasized, making sure the fan was okay before continuing with the performance.

This act of care and consideration by Eilish is contrasted by the recent events involving rapper Travis Scott, who is currently under legal scrutiny for the tragic crowd crush incidents at his Astroworld performance last November. Following this incident, artists are being more vigilant about their fans’ well-being at concerts, with SZA also pausing a show last month to assist a fan who had fainted and ensure they received medical attention.
