Billie Eilish Removes Social Media Apps

Eilish is Taking a Break from Online Interactions

Billie Eilish, like many celebrities today, has a complex relationship with social media. While it can be a useful tool for connecting with fans, social media also exposes celebrities to negativity and potentially harmful content. This is why Eilish has decided to distance herself from social media altogether.

During a recent interview on the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast, Eilish shared that she has removed all social media apps from her phone.

She reflected on her childhood and how the internet played a different role back then. Eilish mentioned that as she grew up, she witnessed the evolution of technology, from computers and games to smartphones and social media.

She expressed her discomfort with the way the internet has influenced her perception of herself. Eilish admitted to believing everything she reads online, despite knowing that most of it is not true. She highlighted the prevalence of misinformation and how easily it can be misconstrued.
