After a successful comeback in 2019, the popular K-pop group BTS has been achieving great success in the music industry. They have been constantly selling out concerts, releasing hit singles and albums, and topping charts worldwide. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, BTS has been resilient and dedicated to their craft, although some international tours had to be canceled. One of their hit singles, “Dynamite,” has already secured the top position on the international artist list. Currently, they are gearing up for their upcoming BTS Permission To Dance On Stage shows and Jingle Ball Tour.
Recognizing the importance of rest and self-care, BTS’s music company, Big Hit, recently announced that the group will be taking a brief hiatus lasting several weeks. This break aims to provide the members with the opportunity to recharge and rejuvenate themselves.
In an official statement, Big Hit expressed, “This period of rest will provide the members of BTS who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to get re-inspired and recharge with creative energy. It will also be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families. We kindly ask once again that you show consideration for their need to enjoy ordinary and free, everyday lives while solely concentrating on themselves, albeit for a short while, during their period of rest.”
