In a recent announcement, Conan O’Brien, the host of a late-night talk show, concluded his show on TBS after being on air for more than ten years. The final episode aired on Thursday, during which O’Brien reflected on his time hosting the show.
During the farewell episode, viewers were treated to highlights from the show’s history, including memorable moments and interviews with various celebrities. O’Brien was surprised by a virtual appearance from his long-time friend Will Ferrell, who jokingly offered early goodbyes for Conan’s next venture on HBO Max.
Taking a nostalgic trip back to his days working on The Simpsons, an animated version of O’Brien was seen engaging in an exit interview with Homer Simpson, who seemed clueless about Conan’s identity until reminded that he is a talk show host.
Additionally, Jack Black, despite dealing with a sprained ankle, joined O’Brien on stage for a trip down memory lane. Jack Black even went as far as performing an improvised tribute song to O’Brien set to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”
O’Brien’s new show, yet to be revealed, is set to launch on HBO Max in the coming year.
