Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow joined Cox at the ceremony.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California honors some of the biggest names in showbiz with personalized stars along the famous sidewalk. Being awarded a star on the Walk of Fame is a milestone that solidifies your place in the history of television and film, and the most recent addition to this prestigious pathway is Courteney Cox.
Cox, renowned for her role in the beloved sitcom Friends, was presented with her own star on the Walk of Fame. Her former Friends co-stars, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow, stood by her side at the event to celebrate this significant accomplishment.
During the ceremony, Aniston expressed, “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney, and she is responsible for all of that from the beginning. When we met her she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you and you know I was really nervous to meet her because I was a huge fan.”
Kudrow also shared her sentiments by mentioning that Cox “really set us up to become one of the closest, most loving, and supportive casts in, I’ll say, the history of television.”
Cox echoes the sentiments of her friends, as she recently stated in an interview with Variety that her time on the show “taught me the importance of camaraderie and really sticking together.”
