Even if you’re not familiar with anime and manga, chances are you’ve heard about Kimetsu no Yaiba, also known as Demon Slayer. This wildly popular manga series turned anime has seen remarkable success, surpassing the entire US comic book industry in sales. The author, Koyoharu Gotouge, even made it to the Time 100 Next list, recognizing emerging talents in business. While a second season of the anime is in the works, audiences in the West are eagerly anticipating the movie release.

Western fans have long awaited the opportunity to watch this movie, but the uncertainty surrounding theatrical releases due to the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed its arrival. Thankfully, distributors Aniplex and Funimation have now announced the release date for Western audiences.
