Marvel’s next limited-run series for Disney+, Loki, is slated to begin its run on the service starting on June 9. Unlike the other Marvel series, Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which both aired on Fridays, Loki will instead air on Wednesdays. Tom Hiddleston himself announced this alteration a few weeks ago; he didn’t specify whether or not there was an official reason, but hey, who’s complaining about getting cool stuff earlier in the week.
In the Wednesdays leading up to the premier of Loki, Disney+ will be taking the opportunity to catch everyone up on his role in the MCU so far. Last night, on the official Disney+ Twitter, it was announced that starting today, May 12, and on every Wednesday up to June 9, the platform will be holding watch parties of every Loki-adjacent MCU film.
“Wednesdays are going to RULE. Starting tomorrow, join us as we count down to the glorious premiere of Marvel Studios’ @LokiOfficial with #DisneyPlus watch parties every Wednesday featuring the God of Mischief. Tweet along with us using #LokiWednesdays,” the tweet explained.
The schedule for these watch parties will be as follows:
- May 12 at 5:00 PM Pacific: Thor
- May 19 at 4:00 PM Pacific: The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World
- May 26 at 5:00 PM Pacific: Thor: Ragnarok
- June 2 at 4:00 PM Pacific: Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame
