However, the context in which Blunt said these words was much more complex. The interviewer had asked her a question that was difficult to answer.
“This was an off-the-cuff remark,” she said.
“I apologize if I offended anyone, it was not my intention,” Blunt added.

She further stated, “I am truly sorry.”
Additionally, Blunt mentioned, “I have learned from this experience. It has made me reflect on my own biases.”
