Finn Wolfhard, widely recognized for his role as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things and appearances in It series and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is a rising star in the entertainment industry. Apart from his acting career, he has also delved into directing, having directed the short film Night Shifts in 2020. Now, he is set to add another director credit to his portfolio.
Wolfhard recently announced the commencement of production for a new horror comedy film titled Hell of a Summer, in which he will not only star but also co-direct. Joining him in this project is Billy Bryk, another talented actor and director who has featured in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and When You Finish Saving the World.
“I am thrilled to be co-directing my first feature film. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with an outstanding cast and crew, alongside esteemed companies like 30West and Aggregate,” expressed Wolfhard in a statement.
