First Trailer Released for ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’

The first trailer of ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ has been released. The iconic children’s character, Clifford, has been a favorite since the 1920s. The upcoming live-action movie features Darby Camp as Emily Elizabeth Howard, who discovers Clifford in a magical tent. John Cleese plays the tent’s owner, who reveals that Clifford will grow as much as Emily loves him, leading to some hilarious situations with Emily’s Uncle Casey, played by Jack Whitehall.

The trailer focuses more on showcasing some funny moments with the giant red dog rather than revealing the entire plot. According to Paramount’s official synopsis, Emily will have to protect Clifford from a genetics company that wants to use his DNA to create super-sized animals. Interestingly, the trailer features the song “Dynamite” by Kpop group BTS, which has contributed to its popularity.

‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ is set to premiere in theaters on September 17, 2021. The film’s official Twitter account is running a charity campaign, where every like the trailer tweet receives results in a $1 donation to the Best Friends Animal Society.
