Gypsy has confirmed her separation from Ryan Anderson. They got married in 2022, having met in 2020.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has revealed that she and her husband Ryan Anderson have decided to part ways, just three months after she was released from incarceration.
In July 2022, Gypsy and Ryan got married while Gypsy was serving a 10-year prison sentence for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Their relationship began when Ryan sent Gypsy a letter in 2020, and they got to know each other over the phone before meeting in person.
After her release, Ryan supported Gypsy during her public appearances, often sharing loving photos on social media with explicit comments about their relationship. In December 2023, Gypsy told PEOPLE magazine about their plans to remarry and start a family together.
In a statement on her personal Facebook profile, as reported by PEOPLE, Gypsy wrote: “People have been asking about my current situation. Sadly, my husband and I are going our separate ways, and I’ve moved back to my parents’ home.”
“With the support of my family and friends as I navigate this time, I am focusing on listening to my inner voice,” she expressed. “I need time to explore… discovering my true self.”
Recently, Gypsy announced that she will be deactivating all her public social media accounts following an apology where she expressed regret for her previous statements.
In a TikTok video, which has been deleted, Gypsy said: “To those who were offended by my lack of responsibility in the months after my release and in my interviews, I apologize. I am growing. I take responsibility for my actions, and I acknowledge it now. I am owning up to it. I made a mistake.”
According to PEOPLE, a source claimed that Gypsy’s decision “was advised by her parole officer to avoid issues and a potential return to prison.
