A few weeks ago, McDonald’s teamed up with streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market to introduce “Adult Happy Meals,” which are larger meals with unique toys included. The response to these Adult Happy Meals has been overwhelmingly positive, to the point where McDonald’s workers had to ask customers to order fewer of them due to overwhelming demand.
The promotion is ongoing until the end of October, but some eager individuals are already trying to make a profit by selling the toys ahead of time on eBay. Numerous listings showcasing the various Adult Happy Meal toys have appeared on the auction site, with some sellers pricing them at thousands of dollars. The most expensive listing so far is asking for $300,000.95 for three sealed toys.
This trend of McDonald’s toys being sold at high prices on eBay is not new, but these listings are among the highest seen recently for this type of product, especially considering the easy availability of these items. While the thousand-dollar listings have not attracted buyers, toys priced between $25 and $50 have been consistently selling well, with hundreds of them finding buyers.

Interestingly, even the Adult Happy Meal boxes have gained attention as collector’s items, leading to some stores running out of boxes due to the high demand.
“We had a line outside our store the first day,” shared a McDonald’s employee from San Antonio with Business Insider, noting that “we were sold out [of boxes] by 6 PM.”
