Additionally, Stewart has produced several stand-up specials and currently hosts a comedy and talk show blend called The Problem with Jon Stewart on Apple TV.
Recognizing his remarkable career and commitment to social causes, Stewart has been selected as the honoree of the 23rd Kennedy Center Mark Twain Award for his lifetime accomplishments in comedy.
Deborah F. Rutter, President of the Kennedy Center, stated to the Associated Press, “Watching Jon’s television shows has always been a mix of entertainment and truth for me. In these tumultuous times, Jon’s unwavering support for first responders and veterans showcases how humor, compassion, and patriotism can make a positive difference in the world.”

On April 24, Stewart will be presented with the award at a ceremony where friends, colleagues, and surprise guests will deliver speeches praising his accomplishments. Interestingly, this will mark Stewart’s second appearance on the Mark Twain stage, having previously spoken at Dave Chappelle’s award ceremony in 2019.
