Recently announced in the E3 Direct presentation by Nintendo, Kazuya Mishima from the renowned Tekken series will be making an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Kazuya brings his expertise in hand-to-hand combat to the game, focusing on strong strikes, grapples, and the iconic 10-hit combos from Tekken. Additionally, he can unleash his Devil Gene during specific moves, transforming into a fearsome demonic form with wings and laser abilities. The collaboration will also introduce a Tekken-themed stage featuring Heihachi Mishima.

Details about Kazuya’s official release date in the game are yet to be disclosed. However, a presentation by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai on June 28 will delve into Kazuya’s moves and gameplay mechanics. With Kazuya’s inclusion, only one slot remains to be filled in Fighter’s Pass 2, marking the culmination of character development in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Fans hope that Sakurai will soon get some well-deserved rest after this final addition.
