Quan is considering his next steps following the success of Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Recently, the team behind the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once celebrated their remarkable achievements at the 2023 Academy Awards, where they clinched seven significant Oscars. For Ke Huy Quan, who earned the Best Supporting Actor award, this win was particularly poignant as it marked his first role in nearly forty years.
After his victory, Quan has been pondering his future in acting. In a recent interview with Variety, he shared some valuable advice he received from fellow actor Cate Blanchett.
He recounted, “I told her that I’m unsure about my next steps, but I feel a sense of responsibility to do something meaningful and not let down all the people who have supported me.”
Blanchett advised him, “Just follow your heart and be bold: Don’t fret over others’ opinions. Choose something you believe in, something you’re passionate about, and things will fall into place.”

During the Oscars ceremony, Quan, presented with the award by his former Indiana Jones co-star Harrison Ford, was overwhelmed with happiness. “When he revealed the winner, it made our win for best picture even more memorable,” Quan shared. “I was so elated. I just wanted to show Harrison Ford all my appreciation. I planted a big kiss on his cheek!”
