If you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s, chances are you’ve seen a Lindsay Lohan film. From her breakout role in Disney’s The Parent Trap to hits like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, Lohan was once a prominent young actress. However, the pressures of fame and media attention led her to step back from acting in the early 2010s and move overseas. In a 2019 interview with CNN, Lohan expressed her desire to return to the U.S. and acting, stating her intention to reclaim the life she had worked hard for.
After a hiatus due to the pandemic, Lohan is now making her comeback. In an interview with Variety, she revealed her upcoming project – a romantic comedy Christmas special on Netflix. The film, which remains untitled, follows Lohan’s character, a wealthy heiress who loses her memory after a skiing accident and is cared for by a lodge owner and his daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.
