During a recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was announced that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a popular Switch game, will be getting a significant amount of downloadable content (DLC) in the coming years.
The DLC will include 48 new race tracks, all remastered versions of tracks from previous Mario Kart games. These tracks will be released in six waves, each containing eight tracks. The first wave is set to launch on March 18, 2022, featuring tracks like Paris Promenade, Toad Circuit, Choco Mountain, and more.
While the release date for the subsequent waves has not been confirmed, all 48 tracks are expected to be rolled out by the end of 2023.
