Recognizing its popularity, McDonald’s now plans a nationwide release at least once a year. The time for its return is almost here again.
On Wednesday, McDonald’s teased an upcoming announcement on Twitter with a cryptic message hinting at something important. This morning, they confirmed that the McRib will make a comeback on November 1, 2021, following a similar timing to last year’s release in October.

According to Mike Bullington, McDonald’s senior archives manager, the McRib is a seasonal delight best enjoyed in colder weather. “Whether you’re a McRib fanatic or trying it for the first time, the McRib is undeniably one of the most iconic sandwiches of the past forty years, with thousands of emails and tweets from fans to support it,” Bullington stated.
Details on pricing and availability duration per location are yet to be revealed, but with the promotion dubbed “McRib season,” it’s likely to be on menus throughout November.
