Michael B. Jordan Shares Breakup Humor on SNL

The other cast members playfully teased Jordan during the show.

Actor Michael B. Jordan had his debut as the host of Saturday Night Live over the weekend. This marked one of his first public appearances since his split with Lori Harvey in June last year, which became the focus of Jordan’s opening monologue.

Jordan joked, “Most people try to get in better shape after a breakup. But I was already in Creed shape! So I decided to learn a new language instead. Anyway, estoy en Raya,”

He also addressed the viral meme of him looking sad at a basketball game post-breakup, saying, “I was just chillin’. But the internet decided I was sad.”

“Luckily, if you Google ‘Sad Michael Jordan,’ you’ll find my dad first,” he quipped, pointing out images of the basketball legend.

During his monologue, Jordan’s SNL colleagues, including Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Punkie Johnson, playfully interacted with him.

In a humorous exchange, Johnson teased Jordan with, “Aren’t you gay?” to which he replied, “I am, but you’re Michael B. Jordan, and I’m Punkie B. Curious. I mean, even vegans have cheat days, right?”
