News broke last night confirming the passing of Scott Hall, a revered figure in professional wrestling across the WWF, WCW, and WWE. He was 63 years old.
Just last month, Hall suffered a hip injury, and as he was scheduled for surgery to address it, complications arose over the weekend. Hall was placed on life support on Sunday and later taken off it on Monday, ultimately leading to his passing. The announcement was made by his close friends and wrestling partners, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman.
Known by the ring name Razor Ramon, Hall portrayed a villainous persona during his wrestling career. Alongside Nash and Hulk Hogan, he co-founded the infamous group New World Order, commonly known as the nWo.
Reflecting on Hall’s impact, Hulk Hogan expressed, “He took care of me when I was down and out and when everyone thought Hulkamania was dead. Scott Hall resurrected me. He put me back on the map … I love him so much I can’t even explain it to you.
“Bad times don’t last but bad guys do … So for the original bad guy who took Hulk Hogan and taught ‘Hollywood’ [Hogan] how to be a bad guy, I’ve gotten nothing but love.”

“We were the ‘Outsiders’ but we had each other,” Nash shared on Instagram. “Scott always felt he wasn’t worthy of the afterlife. Well, God, please have some gold-plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was enriched with his take on life. He wasn’t perfect but as he always said, ‘The last perfect person to walk the planet they nailed to a cross.’”
