Rebel Wilson Opens Up About Her First Romantic Experience at 35

“It might surprise you to know that you were the one I shared that moment with.”

Rebel Wilson recently revealed details about her first intimate encounter at the age of 35, including the identity of the actor she was with – who apparently was unaware of this fact.

As she promotes her new autobiography, “Rebel Rising,” the actress, well-known for her role in Pitch Perfect, has been candid in sharing various details. From mentioning Adele’s apparent aversion towards her, to dedicating her book to a colleague she had a rough history with (later confirmed to be Sacha Baron Cohen), Rebel is not shying away from honesty.

In a recent excerpt, Rebel, now 44, reflects on her late blooming romantic journey and past relationships.

In an interview with the New York Times, she mentioned that “he had the privilege of being the first reader of [the book],” indicating that he was informed before its release.

Explaining the reasons for waiting before her first intimate experience, Rebel shared: “As a plus-sized person, I always felt that true sexual attraction was out of reach for me.”

She also revealed that her decision to engage in intimacy was influenced by her mother’s battle with breast cancer, saying: “I couldn’t imagine a life without experiencing love and physical connection. I signaled to the universe that I was ready. I was determined to face my fears and take a chance.”
