RHONY Reboot: New Season, New Cast, New Drama!
Prepare yourselves, fans of Bravo’s reality show The Real Housewives of New York City, as it is set to return this summer with its 14th season after a hiatus lasting almost two years. The premiere date for the new season is scheduled for July 16th, as announced by Bravo.
The upcoming season introduces a fresh and diverse cast featuring Sai De Silva, the owner of Scout the City blog; fashion blogger, model, and philanthropist Ubah Hassan; Erin Dana Lichy, owner of a home renovation and design firm; Jenna Lyons, a veteran of the fashion industry; Jessel Taank, a fashion publicist; and Brynn Whitfield, a brand marketing and communications professional.
The previous season was filled with drama, leading Bravo to revamp the cast completely in October 2022. Long-time stars Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Leah McSweeney, who joined during season 12, along with newcomer Eboni K. Williams, the show’s first Black Housewife, have all exited the series.
While Jenna Lyons has not divulged any cast details, she mentioned that filming the new season has been an enjoyable experience, different from her expectations but in a positive way.
Sai De Silva expressed that the upcoming season will bring a breath of fresh air, highlighting the professionalism, positivity, and uplifting nature of the new cast. She did, however, acknowledge that the show’s passionate fans can be brutally honest when expressing their opinions.
For fans of RHONY, mark your calendars for July 16th and anticipate an exciting new season that promises to be filled with intrigue and entertainment.
