Todd received a 12-year sentence, while Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Recently, their daughter Savannah Chrisley shared some emotional insights into how her parents are doing behind bars.
Todd is serving his sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie is incarcerated at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. They both began serving their sentences on January 17th of this year.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Todd and Julie have shared messages of resilience and faith on their podcast, Chrisley Confessions.
Savannah recently revealed on her podcast, Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley, that seeing her parents in prison was a heartbreaking experience. She noted Todd’s physical changes, such as his gray hair, but also expressed her strong belief in hope and resilience.
She emphasized that her parents’ ordeal is meant to bring about positive change and a powerful story, regardless of the outcome of their appeal.
Savannah also shared distressing details about the conditions in which Julie is incarcerated, highlighting the lack of air conditioning and contrasting it with the accommodations for service dogs in the facility.
Despite these challenges, Savannah remains hopeful and supportive of her parents as they navigate this difficult period in their lives.
