# Terry Silver to Make a Comeback in Season Four of ‘Cobra Kai’
Among the original Karate Kid movies, Part III is often criticized for revisiting familiar themes from the preceding films, such as an underdeveloped romantic subplot and an unusually inept portrayal of the protagonist, Daniel LaRusso. However, one aspect of the movie that shines brightly is the performance of Thomas Ian Griffith as the main antagonist, Terrence “Terry” Silver. After 32 years, it seems it’s time for him to make a significant comeback.
The official Netflix YouTube channel recently shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Cobra Kai, the continuation of the Karate Kid series. The teaser showcases a foreboding silhouette of Griffith as Terry Silver alongside an ominous voiceover.
“If a man can’t stand, he can’t fight. If a man can’t breathe, he can’t fight. If a man can’t see, he can’t fight. Extreme situations call for extreme actions,” the narration declares.
Since the reintroduction of Martin Kove’s character, John Kreese, fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of Terry Silver. Despite Griffith having retired from acting in 2007, the show’s producers managed to persuade him to come out of retirement for one final showdown.

“From the very start of the series, we’ve been strategically planning the perfect moment to reintroduce Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver into the storyline. That moment has arrived. We are thrilled for audiences worldwide to witness Thomas Ian Griffith’s triumphant return to the franchise,” stated executive producers and writers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg.
