The Rising Star of ‘Euphoria’ Passes Away at 25

Angus Cloud, the talented actor known for playing Fezco “Fez” O’Neill, the high school drug dealer in the HBO series “Euphoria,” has tragically died at the age of 25. His publicist, Cait Bailey, confirmed the news, stating that Angus passed away at his family home in Oakland, California. However, the cause of his death has not been revealed.

In a heartfelt statement, Angus Cloud’s family said goodbye to their beloved son, brother, friend, and artist. They shared that Angus had been dealing with the loss of his father, who he considered his best friend, and had been openly facing his mental health struggles. The family expressed hope that Angus’s passing would remind others to never suffer such battles alone and in silence.

Angus Cloud’s journey to fame began when casting scout Eléonore Hendricks noticed him walking down a street in New York. Initially skeptical, Angus’s doubts disappeared when he met with casting director Jennifer Venditti and series creator Sam Levinson, who recognized his immense talent. As a result, Angus was cast alongside Zendaya in the pivotal role of Fez for the first two seasons of “Euphoria.”

Although some believed that Angus and his character Fez were similar, Angus refuted this notion. In an interview with Variety, Angus honestly stated that portraying the character required significant effort and was far from easy. He emphasized that he brought his unique essence to Fez, proving that it was not a simple task.

Prior to “Euphoria,” Angus Cloud had limited acting experience, but his portrayal of Fez brought him fame and recognition. His exceptional talent and authenticity made a lasting impression on the audience. Angus also appeared in music videos for popular artists such as Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.

The entertainment industry mourns the loss of this promising young talent, as his contributions to film and television will undoubtedly be remembered. Angus Cloud will be remembered for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone, leaving behind an enduring legacy that resonates with fans and fellow artists.
