These small terriers were originally English fox hunters and require a lot of exercise and stimulation during the day.

A Great Pyrenees Was Elected Mayor
A Great Pyrenees called Duke the Fluffy was elected as mayor multiple times in Cormorant, Minnesota. Citizens were tired of human politicians not fulfilling promises and decided to vote for a dog.
Duke has been serving as mayor for many years. Other US cities, such as Sunol, California, Eastsound, Washington, and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, have also elected dogs as mayors.
A Chicken Farmer and His Guard Dog Save Hundreds of Penguins
Penguins, particularly tiny ones around a foot tall, are among the cutest animals. Unfortunately, a pack of foxes threatened a small colony of almost 1,000 penguins in Middle Island, Australia.
Upon learning of this threat, Australian chicken farmer Swampy Marsh and his guard dog went to protect the penguins. Thanks to their protection, not a single penguin was hunted, and their population has grown back to around 200.
