Disney parks are renowned as top family entertainment destinations worldwide. The employees, known as cast members, always strive to provide exceptional and endearing service. However, while cast members are happy to interact with guests, there are certain things that visitors should not expect them to do.
A TikToker with the username @dappermanatee recently posted a video on their profile, sharing their experience as a former cast member at a Disney park. According to @dappermanatee, guests would frequently make unreasonable and rule-breaking requests, and although their job required them to deliver excellent service, there were some things they couldn’t and wouldn’t do.
“It’s our job. We’re not here to be your friends. Don’t ask me to bend rules for you,” @dappermanatee stated. “Don’t ask me to get you into the park. That’s the weirdest part.” It appears that guests who noticed his name tag would ask him for free admission, which he could not provide.

In addition, @dappermanatee requested that if guests see a cast member who is clearly not in uniform, they should not approach them for assistance or directions. Typically, there are plenty of on-duty cast members available who can provide help instead.
