Despite being scheduled for an upcoming performance at the Day N Vegas Festival in Las Vegas, Scott has decided not to perform due to his emotional state. Instead, he has announced that he will personally oversee the refund process for all Astroworld attendees. However, the refunds may not be sufficient, as lawsuits have already been initiated against both the festival and Scott individually.
One of the lawsuits, filed by attendee Manuel Souza, alleges that Scott and the organizers failed to ensure the safety of the concert and disregarded the risks, resulting in serious harm to attendees. The lawsuit claims gross negligence on their part.
