Circle tweets are visible to selected users only.
While Twitter is reportedly in talks with Elon Musk for a significant financial deal, the platform continues to work on enhancing its features. While the highly anticipated edit button is still under development, Twitter has introduced a new feature that allows users to control who can view their tweets without making their entire account private.
var pref_connatix_event_title_prefix = ‘ConnatixLarge’;var prefMainPlayer=pref_connatix_event_title_prefix;var pref_connatix_catapultx_id = ‘tdw-main-player’;
cnxps.cmd.push(function () {
cnxps({
playerId: getUrsCtxStoryPlayer() ,”customParam1″:getUrsPI(),”customParam2″:getUrsSTI(),”customParam3″:”ConnatixMain”,settings: {queryJsTargeting:{apsTargetingKey:getUrsTI().split(‘_’).slice(0,1).join(‘_’).toLowerCase()},advertising: {macros: {“CustomMacro1″:getUrsPI(),”CustomMacro2″:getUrsSTI(),”CustomMacro3″:”ConnatixMain”}}}
}).render(‘307852102563439fa7d193066a4208a5’,connatix_js_ready_callback);
});
Twitter’s latest feature, Circle, enables users to create tweets that are only visible to a select group of users chosen by the tweet’s author. When composing a tweet, users can select up to 150 individuals to grant access to view the tweet. Those outside the selected group will be unaware of the tweet’s existence, as it is exclusively shared with the designated users. Moreover, tweets within the Circle cannot be retweeted, and members of the Circle are unable to see who else has been included in the group.
Some Tweets are for everyone & others are just for people you’ve picked.
We’re now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd.

This feature has drawn comparisons to Facebook’s Select Audience and Instagram’s Close Friends features. As of now, the Circle feature is still in the testing phase, allowing users to create only one Circle at a time. This means that users can’t customize permissions for every individual tweet but can create a group with overarching viewing access. Additionally, if someone adds you to their Circle, you cannot remove yourself from it, although you can opt to mute their tweet threads to disengage.
