Videos have surfaced on social media showing explosions at a port in Berdyansk, Ukraine, currently occupied by the Russian military. One video captured a Russian landing ship, the Orsk, being engulfed in explosions.
The Ukrainian military claims responsibility for destroying the Orsk and causing significant damage to other ships in the vicinity. The Orsk was unloading military equipment along with other vessels before the attack.
“A 3,000-ton fuel tank was destroyed, and the fire extended to the enemy’s ammunition depot. Further details on the damage caused are being investigated,” stated the Ukrainian armed forces on Facebook.

The specific weapon used by the Ukrainian military to destroy the Orsk has not been disclosed, nor has the method of deployment. Nonetheless, the destruction of the Orsk and the damage caused to other vessels and storage facilities deal a significant blow to the Russian presence in Berdyansk, which has controlled the city since February 27.
