The individual made a confusing statement before being taken into custody shortly after.
On Thursday night, the 2022 Game Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The event featured award presentations, game reveals, musical performances, and even an unexpected appearance by the Muppets. However, the highlight of the night occurred during the final award presentation for Game of the Year, where Hidetaka Miyazaki of FromSoftware was awarded for Elden Ring.

As Miyazaki accepted the award with his team, an unknown individual from the audience suddenly joined them on stage. Despite Miyazaki delivering his acceptance speech, the individual seized the microphone and made a bizarre statement.
“Hey, my turn. You know, real quick, I want to thank everybody and say I think I want to nominate [sic] this award to my reformed orthodox rabbi, Bill Clinton. Thank you, everybody.”

The individual was swiftly removed from the stage, and host Geoff Keighley promptly concluded the event. Shortly thereafter, Keighley announced on his personal Twitter account that “The individual who interrupted our Game of the Year moment has been arrested.”
As of now, the exact identity of the individual remains unknown. However, reports suggest that he has a history of causing disruptions at public gatherings, including an incident at BlizzCon 2019 and an appearance on an InfoWars podcast discussing Hong Kong protests in the past.
