Actress Sandra Bullock, mom to two kids, Louis (11) and Laila (8), shared with PEOPLE that she recognizes herself as an “uncool” mom.
“I function as the maternal figure. When I’m not there, I’m missed, and when I am there, I can be a bit annoying, and that’s just how it is.”
Bullock adopted Louis in 2010 and Laila in 2012. She prefers to keep her children out of the spotlight and doesn’t reveal much about them publicly.
Before her current relationship with Bryan Randall, Bullock was married to Jesse James for five years until their split in 2010.
She admits that she sees herself as an uncool mom most of the time. “Unless I come home with some treat. Like the other night, I brought home donuts. At that moment, I was super cool!” But then, she goes back to her uncool mom self.
She says she wouldn’t have it any other way.
