Taylor Swift May Appear in Deadpool 3, Rumors Suggest

There’s a buzz about Taylor Swift possibly making an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically in Deadpool 3. But is there any truth to these rumors? And if so, which superhero role could she be taking on?

Speculation is rife that Taylor Swift could be stepping into the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), creating excitement among fans.

With her recent album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ dropping in mid-April and her European leg of the World Eras Tour kicking off in May, Swifties have had plenty to celebrate in their admiration for the singer.

The rumors started swirling when keen-eyed fans noticed that the setting for Taylor’s music video ‘All To Well’ matched the location featured in the trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine. Fans of Swift know she loves to include hidden easter eggs in her work.

While it might not raise eyebrows normally, given that her partner Travis Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, what caught attention was Taylor being spotted with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman—known for their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively—at a particular event. These two characters are pivotal in the upcoming Deadpool movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ryan was quizzed about these speculations, to which he jokingly responded, “Are you kidding me?… I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”

Deadpool director Shawn Levy was also asked about this by Entertainment Tonight following his appearance at CinemaCon.

When pressed on Taylor’s alleged involvement, Shawn commented, “I can’t comment on something I’m not allowed to discuss. It’s known that I can’t address such inquiries.”

He went on to say, “However, as previously mentioned at CinemaCon, the numerous speculations about the cast of this movie are exciting, and the truth will only be revealed on July 26th.”

If Taylor has indeed joined the MCU as rumored, she is speculated to be linked with the character ‘Dazzler’.

During the era when the X-Men franchise was under Fox Studios’ jurisdiction, there were reports of attempts to cast the pop star for this role, although it was never officially confirmed. But with Disney now in charge, the situation has shifted.

For those unfamiliar with Dazzler, be prepared to be impressed when you learn why Taylor could be a great fit for this character.

In the Marvel comics, Dazzler, whose real name is Alison Blaire, hails from Gardendale, New York. Her mutant abilities surfaced during her junior high years, despite her father’s wish for her to pursue Law. Alison’s passion for singing and dream of becoming a professional singer prevailed. (See the parallels already?)

When Alison volunteered to perform at a school event, her mutant powers manifested, showcasing her ability to transform sound into radiant energy forms.

If anyone could nail the role of Dazzler, our money is on Taylor owning it completely.
